Position: Solutions Architect
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our clients team and play a critical role in the successful implementation and ongoing support of a new enterprise cloud solution. You will be instrumental in leveraging cutting-edge technology to optimize business processes, enhance system performance, and develop proactive solutions to ensure the smooth operation of mission-critical systems. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement and align technical solutions with strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Solutions Architecture & Design:
- Develop and refine enterprise solution architectures that align with business strategy, operational goals, and technical requirements.
- Translate business and technical requirements into effective solutions, ensuring that all designs are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Design and document comprehensive solution architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across systems and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate emerging technologies and trends to drive business value and stay ahead of industry changes.
Leadership in Solutions Design & Implementation:
- Lead the evaluation, design, and analysis of architectural solutions for specific business applications or technology initiatives.
- Develop solution designs, including reference architectures and system blueprints, to guide the development of technology systems.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with evolving business requirements.
Governance & Delivery:
- Establish architectural principles, standards, and solution patterns to guide the successful delivery of solutions across the organization.
- Oversee the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio, ensuring that technologies are up-to-date and in line with business needs.
- Monitor and address technology gaps or deficiencies in the existing portfolio, and work to align the technology landscape with the future-state vision.
Collaboration & Business Impact:
- Partner with product owners and teams to ensure that solution architecture supports both current and future business requirements.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration and engage with technology vendors to ensure alignment with the organization’s vision.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance to agile teams, ensuring the alignment of solutions with the enterprise architecture framework.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 10 years of experience in technical architecture or similar roles, with a focus on enterprise solution design
- Deep understanding of architectural patterns and principles
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with enterprise application integration and cloud solutions is highly preferred
