Role: GCP Systems Administrator (product support)
Location: Denver, CO (remote flexibility)
6-12month Contract to Hire
Rate: $50/hr (negotiable depending on experience)
Role Overview: The IT Operations Business Intelligence (BI) GCP Systems Administrator will be responsible for providing production administration in a complex application and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment. This role involves analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving failures, conducting in-depth data research, and implementing fixes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical problem-solving abilities and system administration experience using GCP services, with a focus on logging, monitoring, and dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production administration in a complex GCP environment.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system failures.
- Conduct in-depth data research to provide clarity and implement fixes.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex issues and provide optimal solutions.
- Increase proficiency and scope of involvement through guided and self-initiated learning.
- Provide technical leadership, consulting, best practices, and mentoring to teammates.
- Develop and update documentation, technical procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Integrate effectively within a diverse team of varying skillsets and personalities.
- Provide after-hour, weekend, and on-call support as required.
