Credentialed Trainer Online Training Modules- Early Childhood Registered Apprenticeship Program

Overview: Contribute to the design and delivery of fifty 1.5-hour online training modules with the potential of contributing to additional modules upon completion
Seeking dedicated and experienced level 4 or 5 Credentialed Trainers to develop and create high-quality educational content for our Early Childhood Registered Apprenticeship Program. Content will count toward Related Technical Instruction for 3 apprenticeship occupations: Child Care Development Specialist, Early Childhood Educator, and Early Childhood Administrator/Director. In addition to possessing a level 4 or 5 Kentucky Early Care and Education Training Credential, ideal candidates will demonstrate strong content development skills, online training module development, and experience with Blackboard or similar Learning Management System platforms. Candidates must be willing to attend Blackboard training if needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation:
- Develop comprehensive and engaging educational online training course materials for the Early Childhood Registered Apprenticeship Program.
- Ensure content aligns with program objectives, industry standards, and best practices in early childhood education.
- Work alongside the KY Governor’s Office of Early Childhood Apprenticeship Director to create and implement a plan for content creation.
- Content Management:
- Create content to be added to the KY Governor’s Office of Early Childhood’s Blackboard Learning Management System.
- Regularly update content to reflect current best practices and program changes.
- Monitor user feedback and make necessary adjustments to improve the effectiveness of the training course curriculum.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with program coordinators, educators, and subject matter experts to ensure content relevance and accuracy.
- Participate in ongoing meetings with the KY Governor’s Office of Early Childhood and Apprenticeship Director to provide updates on content development progress.
- Quality Assurance:
- Review and revise content as needed based on feedback from users, evaluations, and input from the KY Governor’s Office of Early Childhood and the Office of Employer and Apprenticeship Services.
- Ensure all materials meet accessibility standards and are inclusive for a diverse audience.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Kentucky Early Care and Education Credentialed Trainer, minimum of a level 4 or 5 credential
Experience: Proven experience in developing educational content and training materials for early care and education providers. Familiarity with registered apprenticeship programs is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in the Blackboard Learning Management System or similar online learning platforms in order to create content that aligns with the Learning Management System format. Strong skills in content creation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and multimedia software, including video and audio).
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational capabilities.
