The Brookville Borough Police Department is seeking motivated individuals interested in pursuing a full time career in Law Enforcement.
Testing Process: The testing process for the Brookville Borough Police Department requires successful completion of each phase. Minimum Police Officers Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years of age; Must possess a valid PA Motor vehicle operator's license; Act 120 certified is preferred, however Act 120 certification can be obtained before official start date; Must possess a current CPR/First Aid certification, or obtained before start date; Must pass a physical & psychological exam and drug screening; Must pass weapons qualification; No visible tattoos when wearing long sleeve shirt with open collar; Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions; Must be in good physical health with weight in proportion to height; Possess a diploma from an accredited High School or a graduate equivalency diploma; Meet all the requirements of the Borough's Civil Service Rules & Regulations that will include a background investigation; Successful applicants will be required to establish a principle residence within 20 miles of the Borough of Brookville within 12 months after successfully completing a 12 month probationary period.
