To be a Teacher Aide, you’ll need:
- High school diploma/GED required; college credits preferred
- NYS Teacher Assistant Certification (ATAS) within 6 months of hire date
- Qualified NYS Driver’s License
- Physical capacity: Aspects may include but are not limited to lifting and transferring of students
- CBC Clearance
- Related classroom experience a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated willingness and aptitude working with children with intellectual, physical and other developmental disabilities
Salary: $17.50/hr
