The Brookville Local School District is seeking well qualified applicants for the position of School Treasurer/CFO.

Brookville is location on I-70, just 12 miles west of I-75 in the northwest corner of Montgomery County. Just 16 miles from Dayton, Ohio there is easy access to the amenities of an urban center. While maintaining a small town feel, the community provides a booming housing market, access to beautiful parks, the Wolf Creek rail Trail for walking and biking and a Community Theater. The total school community includes a population of just under 10,000.
Brookville Local Schools is home to 1,821 students. The campus has a PK-3 elementary school opened in 2011, as well as a high school and intermediate building opened in 2005. Throughout the district students enjoy well maintained modern facilities.
Qualifications:
Ability to work and collaborate with others—a team player; strong financial and detail-oriented reporting skills; ability to facilitate educational discussions/decisions through an analytical lens; interpersonal and effective communication skills; knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, processes, and regulations pertaining to public schools; experience in effective process management and organizational skills; leadership skills for staff and various finance committees; experience with and understanding of operating software and procedures; expertise in developing, communicating, and managing business office procedures; successful experience in cash management programs; ability to develop both short and long range financial forecasts; ability to communicate pertinent financial information to the Board, superintendent, staff and community; must possess a current Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Treasurer’s license.
Starting salary $105,000 and upward based on years of experience and qualifications.
