Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty : Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : AM, 10 hours (9 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : License : RN License

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS)

Must-Have :

Willingness to work every other weekend
Flexible and adaptive to changing situations in a hospital environment

Job Description :

Provide nursing care in the PACU following surgical procedures

Monitor patients' post-operative recovery and manage any complications

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Collaborate with surgical teams and anesthesiologists to ensure patient safety

Document patient care and observations accurately and promptly

Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery

Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement efforts
