Brookwood Endodontic in Tuscaloosa is excited for a skilled and committed, full-time Dental Assistant to join our team and assist us in delivering exceptional care to our patients.
The ideal candidate for the Dental Assistant position should possess a natural inclination towards providing compassionate care.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the doctor chairside during a variety of endodontic procedures.
- Greet and accompany patients for treatment to ensure their comfort.
- Sterilize, maintain, and organize instruments and prepare treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
- Capture X-rays and other scans as needed.
- Enter and complete patient chart notes and documentation.
- Performing office administrative tasks that require the use of a computer.
- 1 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant is highly preferred, but not required.
- Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assisting program preferred, but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
