Brookwood Finishing is the Rhode Island manufacturing division of Brookwood Companies. Our facility, with over 300,000 square feet, operates on continuous shifts using state-of-the art finishing equipment for dyeing, finishing, coating and printing of woven synthetic fabrics.
Join our Inspection Department! We are looking for a Inspector/Utility for our 1st shift (7a-3p).
POSITION SUMMARY:
A Utility worker performs all the jobs in the Inspection Warehouse. You will be responsible for operating inspection machines, operating a box truck and forklift to deliver materials on-site and inspecting dyed/finished cloth for defects or imperfect processing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in Manufacturing setting
- Previous experience operating a forklift
- Active Drivers License
- Ability to satisfactorily complete internal Industrial Powered Equipment Training
- Excellent eye for color and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain concentration while carrying out repetitive tasks
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to read and follow simple instructions
- Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
