Responsibilities and Purpose
A Wound Care Nurse will access residents' wounds, create and implement treatment plans, monitor infections and signs of various infections, and clean wounds.
- Evaluate patients with wounds and injuries.
- Initiate care procedures for managing wounds.
- Access wounds as well as create and implement treatment plans.
