Lawn Care Specialist

Job Summary

We pride ourselves on creating the best yards and lawns for our clients using quality landscaping designs, and with you as a dedicated member on our team, we will continue to provide high-quality service. You will have the opportunity to use your creativity as you assist in bringing landscaping designs to life through planting, trimming and mowing, while also strategically placing lawn décor. You will nurture lawns and plants for our clients through maintenance, watering, feeding and other necessary tasks to keep them healthy and looking great. Foster team unity as you work together to build new lawns and manage existing ones while also interacting with clients and using your excellent customer service skills to keep them happy.

Job Responsibilities

• Care for lawns using a variety of tools, including lawn equipment, rakes, shovels, etc. to ensure they remain aesthetically pleasing.
• Work with and drive the lawn crew as needed.
• Keep lawn areas clean by picking up any dead branches and flowers as well as leaves as needed.

Jobs Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Reliability
• 1 years of experience as a landscaper, groundskeeper, lawn maintenance or similar occupation
• 21 years of age or older
• Detail orientated
• Valid driver’s license and clean background check
• First-rate customer service skills
• First Monday of every month: Perform routine maintenance of equipment with cleaning, changing air filters as needed, checking fluid levels, etc.
• Wash truck as crew – inside and out. First Monday of every month or as indicated by the Owner.

Education and experience: High School diploma or GED. 2 or 4 year degree in a Landscape or Business related field is a plus. 2 years experience as a Landscape crew leader or worker preferred.

Performance skills and qualifications:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. plus
• Available to work a varied schedule (including Saturdays) in sometimes adverse weather conditions.
• Stoop, stand and bend for 8 hours or more a day.
• A valid driver’s license with a good record is preferred.
• Drug free work environment.
• Carry 20lb. back pack blower or sprayer on back.
• Walk 2 – 6 miles a day.
• Lift branches and limbs.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and equipment maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
