Description
Brosz Engineering is currently seeking a Civil Engineer EIT / FE to join our growing municipal team. We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and work well in a team environment. Applicants must have a degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET credentialed university. Prior experience in municipal engineering is a plus.
Requirements
Civil Engineering candidate will be responsible for preparing technical reports, plans and specifications, and engineering services during construction for new or existing urban related construction projects for review by the Project Managing PE. Candidates will analyze current infrastructure systems and perform problem solving using practical creative thinking skills. Conceptual and preliminary design activities include site visits, fieldwork, alternate analysis, and report preparation. Collaboration with several entities such as other engineering disciplines, planning districts, funding and regulatory agencies, and equipment suppliers are all regular activities. Innovative and creative designs shall be implemented into detailed plans and specifications. Construction administration and oversight activities shall also be performed to ensure adherence to contract requirements. All Civil Engineers are expected to maintain a high level of professional service to the Company's clients in an accurate and timely manner.
