Brother and Sister Food Services Inc. is a SQF certified meat processing company in Camp Hill, PA, producing a wide variety of products: raw ground, fully cooked RTE, fermented and dried sausages, dried whole muscle, and canned meats. The Assistant Plant Manager will schedule, organize, and direct daily production in cooperation with the Plant Manager. Strong supervisory skills are essential to this position. 3-5 years of experience in the meat processing industry is needed. Spanish language skills are a bonus.
Key skills and duties:
· Report to Plant Manager to coordinate overall production workflow and priorities
· Strong organizational and supervisory skills
· On-floor supervision of machine operators in key processes including: grinding, chopping, stuffing, canning
· Ensure production staff adhere to food safety and worker health and safety requirements
. This is a salaried position averaging 10-11 hours per day.
