The Specialist, Supply Chain Operations drives improvements in warehouse operations for all distribution functions across all Brother Distribution Centers (DCs). This role analyzes processes and interprets data to drive associated actions resulting in operational improvements. This role recommends solutions and plans action to improve the Company’s performance as well as our 3PL's performance in critical areas, keeping management updated on the day-to-day progress and status.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
***
Operations Reporting & Improvement
- Manage and complete daily, weekly, monthly reporting requirements for operations, compliance, and inventory, which requires report development and analytics
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to warehouse processes, including inventory control, order picking, packing, and shipping operations, to include standing operating procedures and/or work instructions
- Prepare reports and presentation to communicate findings and recommendations
- Perform a variety of calculations, analysis, and audits of financial and operational results, which typically involves fundamental professional supply chain principles
- Create weekly reports showing trends of defects/SIRs
- Analyze multiple sources of operations data, including but not limited to JDA/WMS data and reports, JDA WLM data and reports, and SAP identifying trends or issues to determine root cause and drive resolution
- Analyze and resolve inbound container issues for all three DCs (TN, VA, CA)
Inventory Reporting & Improvement
- Conduct shipment investigation reports; manage and maintain SharePoint databases initiating warehouse investigations by 3PL, driving improvements to increase error opportunities.
- Perform reports on inventory for operations and other key stakeholders, providing recommendations, suggestions, and solutions to increase efficiency
- Evaluate and improve cycle count process across different business units
Project Management
- Work projects as assigned, collaborating with cross-departmental teams
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, issues, and delays in the warehouse workflow, working to minimize disruption and downtime
- Analyze warehouse labor management system reports for 3PL partners and key internal stakeholders
- Oversee ordering of warehouse consumable supplies, including pallets, cartons, and labels
- Support management to ensure adherence to budget

Education
- Bachelor's Degree Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration Preferred
Experience
Minimum 5 years Required
A combination of experience within:
- Experience working in a warehouse or logistics role, focused on operations
- Experience with developing and managing various data & reports, spanning several logistics systems
- Experience recommending process changes within an organization
Licenses and Certifications
- Supply Chain Management certification (e.g. APICS, Six Sigma, or similar) Preferred
Software/Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Advanced Required
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) software Advanced Required
- Proficiency with Data Visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau Intermediate Preferred
Other Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights Required
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis, with a strong focus on inventory management Required
- Ability to think critically and resolve operational challenges effectively Required
- Knowledge of general warehouse operations, such as an understanding of warehouse workflows and logistics best practices Required

This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by managers. #LI-Hybrid
- The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
- Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data
- This position is eligible to participate in the relevant Brother variable pay incentive plan(s). Applicable bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon 1) achievement of your individual objectives and 2) Brother achieving its corporate and business-level objectives

About Where We Work
Brother’s corporate headquarters for the Americas is in Bridgewater, NJ, across from the Bridgewater Commons Mall. This location houses key corporate functions, including HR, legal, finance, IT, and supply chain, and a significant presence of our business unit leadership and marketing teams. Our manufacturing and distribution facility in Bartlett, TN spans an impressive 1.5 million square feet - equivalent to 26 football fields - and is located on Brother Boulevard. In addition to the distribution center operations team, this facility hosts several other departments, including our customer service group. Brother also has employees based in other locations, such as Westminster, CO, where many of our marketing and product engineering team members from the mobile solutions division operate, as well as our distribution centers in Richmond, VA and Perris, CA.
