JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for daily monitoring of the banking, cash management, and reporting functions for the
MinistryWorks clients and service bureau. Responsible for assisting with paying all tax liability timely and
filing all required payroll tax returns prior to the due date. Understand the business, recognizes
opportunities for improvement, and is responsible for recommending solutions that make a positive
contribution to the MinistryWorks goals.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Research and respond to basic client, taxing authority, and internal team questions regarding
payroll tax. - Investigate and resolve basic tax notices received by clients with urgency to keep clients satisfied.
- File all monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax returns in accordance with the client’s previously
established filing frequency. This includes all federal and relevant state and local tax forms. - Transmit the ACH files created during the client’s payroll processing to the bank. Verify the ACH
files are received by the bank and processed appropriately. - Assist the financial analyst with daily bank reconciliation discrepancies, researching and reporting
any inconsistencies to management. - Review the payroll set up for all MinistryWorks new clients to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Communicate with Implementation Specialist to correct any issues that may prevent future
compliance. - Ensure all new clients are accurately set up and imported into payroll tax software before first pay
run. - Exhibit strong organizational skills and work well under pressure with multiple deadlines.
- Demonstrate the procedural knowledge needed to respond to routine questions from clients.
- Complete other projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Education and/or Experience
- Must have Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field.
- Must have one to two years of general business, accounting and/or payroll experience.
- CPA eligible desired
- Internship or experience in a corporate, payroll, or financial work environment is desired.
