JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Assurance Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and test our ice cream products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards, food safety regulations, and customer expectations.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Conduct routine and random quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
· Perform microbiological, physical, and chemical testing of products to ensure quality standards are met.
· Monitor critical control points (CCPs) in the production process to ensure adherence to HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines.
· Record and analyze data to identify trends or areas for improvement in the manufacturing process.
· Work closely with production teams to implement corrective actions when quality issues are identified.
· Participate in internal audits and assist in preparing for external audits (e.g., FDA, USDA, BRC, SQF).
· Maintain a clean and organized lab environment in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
· Train production staff on quality assurance procedures and standards.
· Stay updated on industry standards, regulatory requirements, and new developments in food safety and quality.
· Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
Qualifications
Experience:
- 1 years of experience in QA/QC role in the food industry,, with a focus on ice cream or frozen dessert manufacturing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FDA, USDA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
