· Report directly to CEO and CAO.
- Medicaid Billing Experience Required
- Must be able to work in-person
- Proficient Computer skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology/diagnosis codes
- Ability to communicate with various insurance payers
- Experience in filing claim appeals with insurance companies to ensure maximum reimbursement
- Responsible use of confidential information
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ensure all claims are submitted daily with a goal of zero errors
- Timely follow up on insurance claim status
- Reading and interpreting an EOB (Explanation of Benefits)
- Respond to inquiries by insurance companies
- Communicate denials with main office and CEO/CAO.
- Meet with CEO and CAO to discuss and resolve reimbursement issues or billing obstacles
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must possess a high school diploma, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and adjust to possible changes with a professional and positive attitude, ability to navigate Microsoft suites.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
