Wages starting at $42.50 based on experience

The Nurse Supervisor is directly responsible for supervising all the staff in the building in the performance of their assigned duties, including upholding the standards of nursing practice within the framework of the organization of the Nursing Department. We are always looking for positive, dependable, caring individuals to join our Nursing team to meet the growing demand in our community for quality care.
RN Supervisor duties include:
- Responsible for the overall quality of nursing practices and nursing care administered on the units of assignment.
- Assists the staff in planning for resident care in keeping with the philosophy and the standards established for the department.
- Assists team leader and Nurse Manager in developing and implementing nursing care plans for individual residents.
- Analyzes the quality of care and ascertains need for additional or modified nursing care.
- Gives a thorough and accurate report to the relieving supervisor at change of shift informing him/her of all pertinent information to successfully carry out his/her duties.
- Investigate resident and employee incidents/accidents timely, accurately and thoroughly and complete forms as per policy.
- Has a thorough knowledge of Infection Control policy and procedure and monitors compliance on the nursing units.
- Coordinates the efforts of the health team in planning care and in carrying out the plan of care.
- Gives direct nursing care to residents when it is deemed advisable.
- Assists in the interpretation of policy and procedure for the facility, for residents, for families and visitors.

Qualifications
- Licensed and currently registered in New York State as a Registered Nurse
- Preferred RN experience, will consider previous LPN experience
