Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests while delivering exceptional service. Your role will involve preparing and serving drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using Aloha POS or similar systems.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to support banquet events or special functions as required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area.

Experience

• Previous experience in bartending or related roles within the food industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS systems or similar point-of-sale technology is a plus.
• Experience working in nightclubs, restaurants, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices accurately.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $7.25 - $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
