Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender/Manager, you will create memorable experiences for our guests by crafting high-quality beverages and maintaining a welcoming bar environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and engaging manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes, ensuring the bar is well-stocked at all times.
- Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations, including checking identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders.
- Participate in training new staff members on bartending techniques and bar operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or related roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with kitchen management principles, including budgeting and inventory control.
- Ability to prepare food items efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Experience in interviewing potential staff members is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A creative mindset for developing new drink recipes and specials.
