POSITION SUMMARY
The Food & Beverage Suite Supervisor – Event supports the Concessions Manager in delivering first-class catering services and events, first-class customer service, and high-quality products, in order to increase revenues and uphold the image of the Broward Center as a premier performing arts center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervise the operations of the Club Level Lounge, Intermezzo Lounge, and the staff who will service our patrons with the utmost professionalism creating a positive experience.
- Update Food and Beverage policies and procedures as needed and provide updates to staff.
- Keep staff current on Broward Center policies and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food quality at all times.
- Assist the Concessions Manager by providing quality food and beverage experiences to all customers, internal and external.
- Independently and proactively initiate or respond to all client inquiries and communications in a timely manner.
- Maintain current information on advances in the food and beverage industry to improve work processes, business results, and to position the organization for future growth and revenues.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Food and Beverage Department services.
- Attend all necessary internal and external meetings in order to provide and receive accurate and timely communication regarding the coordination of the Food and Beverage Department's initiatives/objectives.
- Will complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

- Able to maintain a physical presence at designated work locations, maintaining regular attendance, punctuality and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as events required.

- Able to supervise all aspects of the premium suites.
- Able to lift and carry at least 20 pounds and work standing on feet, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling and squatting for several hours.
- Able to interact with clients and potential clients in a polite and courteous manner at all times.
- Able to effectively and efficiently multitask, set priorities, shift priorities, and adapt to changes in situations.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School or High School Equivalent: General or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Experience in a restaurant or full-service dining facility.
