Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school.

Essential Functions
- Develop and provide individual positioning programs, including in bed, seating and wheelchair positioning.
- Design programming for activities of daily living, including, feeding, dressing, functional mobility, and assistive technology.
- Provide Occupational Therapy under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapy to a variety of patients, within different environments, ie; home, classroom and clinic.
- Create programming to address gross motor functioning.
- Recommend, in conjunction with the PT and OT adaptive equipment.
- Order appropriate materials and equipment.
- Fabricate and/or monitor the necessity, use and fit of upper extremity splints and other adaptive devices.
- Participate in meetings, committees and in services as necessary.
- Provide occupational therapy input to the interdisciplinary team for the development of the comprehensive care plan.
- Assist in incorporating carryover of occupational therapy goals in school programs.
- In-service appropriate personnel and families in order to implement occupational therapy goals.
