Job Profile Summary
Under limited supervision, coordinate the contract process for all goods and services for the Procurement Department, including contract renewals, amendments, vendor contract assignments assessment and makes end-user recommendation for College approval, Purchase Order non-standard terms and conditions review / guidance to end-user and compliance. Responsibilities include coordinating the preparation, review, and administration of contracts through all stages of the contracting process, clearly defining the College's short and long-term business objectives, and providing precision and objectivity in assisting with contract administration. Coordinates, reviews, analyzes and provides guidance on contract amendments, and Purchase Order non-standard terms. Conducts vendor negotiations. This position must have the demonstrated ability to understand public procurement, together with the ability to understand and comply with key elements of statutory legislation and regulations under which the College operates.
Minimum Education :
- Bachelor's degree in business, paralegal studies or related field required.
- An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
