Summary:
Interviews uninsured patients to determine potential eligibility for Third party payors, Health Care Marketplace, governmental funding and Federal Qualified Health Center program. Provides personal assistance including the collection of demographic and financial information for the Financial Eligibility application process. Follow-up with regulating agencies and appropriate Broward Health departments regarding eligibility status. Update appropriate systems with accurate insurance and Federally Qualified Health Center status to ensure timely processing and the timely collection of accounts receivable to support optimal accounts receivable management. This also includes collection of pre-registration documents and insurance verification functions to ensure the accuracy of the application process.
