What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Extern I BHCS Peds Pool position at Broward Health?
Varied Hours,Varied Weekends will work as needed. Enrollment in BSN program & completion of at least third year of program. Or enrollment in Associate Nursing program with completion of at least one year of nursing curriculum. Or completion of BSN/Associate Nursing program w/application to take NCLEX.
Under the direction of an R.N., the Nurse Extern provides basic nursing skills and care within the patient and family centered care model. Nursing skills include assisting with personal care, phlebotomy, EKG and basic nursing skills, etc. to facilitate quality service outcomes.
