The Front Desk Associate is the key point of contact for clients, doctors, insurance companies, suppliers, work comp inquiries, hospitals, and various other strategic business partners. The position requires thought processing of the various stages and needs of medical care treatments. This includes the understanding that consistently doing a good and thorough job at all various tasks is an essential part of the overall business success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Providing excellence in customer service to referral, repeat, and new customers: greeting clients, checking people in and out, answering the phone, verifying insurance and other documents, scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments, etc.
· Assisting in transitioning patients to their treatments when needed: bringing patients to rooms, taking vitals, prepping rooms, etc.
· Obtaining proper documentation and approvals for medical treatments: verifying insurance, obtaining referrals when necessary, collecting payments and copayments, and other.
· Completing various administrative and billing duties: entering data and information in computers, assisting with collections, inputting patient data entry, scanning, billing, etc.
· Scheduling doctor surgeries: coordinating doctor patient and hospital schedules, ensuring proper documents and authorizations have been sent and received, securing proper insurance information and fee schedules are in-place, etc.
· Assist in growing the patient base: re-engaging with inactive patients, creating and maintaining positive relationships with patients, etc.
· Other duties that may not be listed but are essential to the proper running of the office including but not limited to maintaining the cleanliness of the clinic and organization of workspace, opening or closing the offices on certain assigned days as agreed in advance, and other items as needed.

· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, stand and sit alternatively for long periods of time, perform tasks requiring general good hearing and sight, and to do all with kindness, generosity, and with good team spirit.
