About the Opportunity
">This role presents a chance to develop professional growth and collaborate with various teams on significant projects. As an I&C Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for developing instrumentation and controls designs for industrial and municipal projects.
">Key Tasks
">- Design and develop P&IDs, wiring schematics, and control system architecture for industrial automation projects
- Create control strategies for automation controls
- Manage PLC and HMI automation project modifications, developments, testing, and startups
- Review submittals from installation contractors, equipment vendors, and system integrator-developed automation programming
- Provide discipline engineering level services during construction (SDCs), including construction submittal review, responses to requests for information, and change order management
Needed Skills and Experience
">- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant engineering field for process automation control system work
- Experience working with instrumentation and control design engineers for government, municipal, and/or industrial water and wastewater projects
- Ability to integrate and apply service offerings and talent to help clients solve their most challenging issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Revit/BIM environments along with AutoCAD or Bentley P&ID software
