Carpet Cleaning Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality carpet cleaning services to both residential and commercial clients. Your expertise will ensure that carpets are thoroughly cleaned, maintained, and restored to their best condition, contributing to a clean and healthy environment.

Duties

• Perform carpet cleaning services using various techniques and equipment, including steam cleaning and dry cleaning methods.
• Assess the condition of carpets and determine the appropriate cleaning method for each job.
• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all tools are in good working order.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and expectations.
• Conduct pre-cleaning inspections to identify stains, damage, or other issues that may require special attention.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with additional floor care tasks as needed, including buffing and maintenance of hard surface floors.
• Keep accurate records of services performed and report any issues or concerns to management.

Skills

• Proven experience in carpet cleaning or related fields such as commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and environmental services practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to operate various types of cleaning equipment effectively and safely.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and standing for extended periods.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
