What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandiser position at Brown Bottling Group?

We are in search of a Merchandiser in the Lincoln and Lawrence county area. Schedule will be Saturday - Wednesday (off on Thurs/Fri).
The Merchandiser will build, stock, and maintain all shelf sections and displays to conform to company standards. Will call in customer requests for additional product or services, and recommend sufficient product inventory to eliminate out-of-stock products. Reliable transportation required to travel to different customer locations, and are reimbursed for mileage. Weekend availability as needed.
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and 60 lbs. intermittently
- Able to push and pull a pallet of soft drinks with a pallet jack weighing up to 260 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Obtain and keep liability auto insurance on personal vehicle.
- Ability to read diagrams and instructions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
