The Global Security Program Coordinator is the primary point of contact for all Global Security programs at Brown Brothers Harriman. The Global Security Program Coordinator manages the budget, administration, and programs for all locations. As well as supporting both strategic, day-to-day programs, and the reporting on security operations.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Programs
- Support and report on all global and regional programs as required.
- Utilize project management and relationship management skills to lead, oversee and expand a variety of the division programs and initiatives.
- Help define project scope and objectives; support the development of detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Conduct meetings, project/program tracking and analysis.
- Serve point of contact for coordination, communication, development, and implementation related to areas of responsibility.
- Support the wider Protect pillar with invoicing and purchasing
2. Risk and Compliance
- Ensure that appropriate risk controls are included in business practices and workflows, including change management and data protection.
- Manage a periodic certification process designed to assure adherence to security policy including, but not limited to: user access, global travel risk, training, updated security procedures and standards
- Define, implement, and track security risk metrics and dashboards to effectively and continuously communicate risk levels and trends to key stakeholders.
- Serve as point of contact and provide coordination for internal and external audits including monitoring and tracking remediation efforts and other action items.
- Assist in multiple activities associated with vendor management.
- Develop a proactive strategy and approach for identifying, measuring, and managing current and future risks.
- Support in managing the overall risk mitigation measures and environment and develop risk controls to assist with this.
- Manage the evaluation of the effectiveness of established policies, procedures, and internal controls with the goal of mitigating risk as appropriate.
3. Financial
- Effective financial planning and budget management
- Invoice management
- Budget forecasting and supporting Global Security
- Support managing vendor relationships and contracts.
- Control the project budget, ensure the effective use of project resources and coordinate change control activities.
Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
- 3 - 5 years of operational and security management experience in multi facility operations.
- Understanding of Risk Management and compliance
- Excellent written and oral communication presentation, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Great knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Experience of conducting Assessments
- Budget management
- Ability to lead and manage as well as work independently.
- Familiarity with a variety of access control systems, CCTV systems and best practice in these areas would be advantageous.
