Position Summary
Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Systems Business Analyst II to join our Information Security Management Global Access Provisioning Automation Team.
The Systems Business Analyst II is a key contributor in the Information Security Division liaising between the ISM Operational teams, business partners, and the technical application team. This individual will be responsible for participating in all phases of the system development lifecycle from project scoping, requirement drafting, test preparation, oversight, and execution. They will also help support issues with timely root cause solutioning to address gaps in processes.

$101,000-$130,000

Position Summary

The Systems Business Analyst II is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Understand system / application architecture, functionality, and administrative operational processes
- Analytical capabilities for data gathering and metric build outs to identify gaps in operational workflows and root cause solutioning
- Work with project managers, developers, testers, and other specialists across multiple teams and locations providing efficient solutions meeting the needs of the business
- Gather and document requirements of proposed enhancements or production issues to be fixed and help set scope definition
- Participate in the development of use case scenarios, test cases, workflow analytics, diagrams, etc
- Participate in the development of SQL insertion queries and lifecycle workflow updates
- Maintain requirements specification, related documentation for projects
- Participate in the design and development process – ensuring requirements are properly understood and addressed by the technical team
- Investigating production issues to determine root cause for solutioning by technical team
- Facilitate communication between provisioning administration team, business teams, and technical team
- Participate in system/user acceptance testing and document results
- Involvement in SDLC Production deployments and checkout of the solution
- BA/BS degree and/or related work experience in the business analyst space or development
- 3-5 years of experience in the systems development lifecycle preferably at a financial services company
- Knowledge of Identity Access Management platforms (i.e. SailPoint, Saviynt, ServiceNOW, Splunk, Varonis)
- Knowledge of Identity Governance Applications (i.e. access requests, certifications, application onboarding, new joiner, mover, leaver) preferred
- Ability to leverage Microsoft Office Suite of applications, SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA, qTest Manager effectively
- Strong analytical skills a plus
- Ability to handle multiple priorities/projects, while meeting deadlines
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills. Experience with the BBH business and its practices, a plus
- Strong global team member – sees Division succession, as own success
