Job Description
The Corporate Finance Technology Cash Records team is seeking a skilled and driven Senior Programmer Analyst to join our mainframe development team. Our goal is to uphold the highest standards in the development and maintenance of Cash Records applications, which support firm's books and records. The role demands a high degree of independence and self-motivation to learn new applications and understand business requirements they support. Strong collaboration and writing skills are essential for coordinating Cash Records projects and developing SDLC documentation. This role requires deep technical proficiency and ability to coordinate projects effectively, ensuring alignment with business objectives and quality standards.
Main areas of responsibilities :
- Analyze business requirements to design efficient mainframe solutions, identifying opportunities to enhance systems functionality and efficiency.
- Develop, modify, and maintain processes built on Cobol, CICS, JCL, DB2, VSAM and MQ Series ensuring high-quality and optimized code. Collaborate with other developers and infrastructure teams to integrate systems and applications.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in mainframe applications, providing support to ensure stability and minimal downtime. This includes monitoring systems performance and making adjustments as necessary.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to validate functionality and ensure solutions meet requirements, using best practices for quality assurance to prevent defects.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, coding standards, and systems configurations, to ensure comprehensive knowledge transfer and continuity.
- Work closely with other IT teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and communicate project status, technical challenges, and solutions.
- Continuously improve and optimize mainframe applications to ensure they perform optimally under heavy usage.

Salary Range
110,000 - $165,000
