The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing the company’s incoming payments and ensuring accurate recording of all transactions. This role involves invoicing clients, monitoring account balances, and following up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payment. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will also work to resolve discrepancies, maintain client relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will also work to resolve discrepancies, maintain client relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
How You Will Contribute
- Responsible for posting daily cash deposits received in a variety of ways (EPAY/ACH/Lockbox/Physical Checks etc..).
- Responsible for research and proper posting of misapplied/unapplied funds.
- Researches and resolves credits on account either through proper application or refund processing.
- Responsible for first outreach regarding past due/bad debt collections.
- Assists with DNOC/Cancellation processing and follow-ups.
- Applying and contacting agents and/or underwriting with discrepancies.
- Assists with corrections and day-to-day accounting issues with underwriting teams.
- Answer questions from agents regarding balances & work with them on getting issues resolved.
- Cross-trained in accounting functions to help fill-in covering vacations, illness, or any other absence.
- Minimum education or prior job experience- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one – three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient with MS Office
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
