Brown & Brown is Seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our growing team in Westborough, MA!
The Administrative Assistant provides vital administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of an office or department. This role involves handling a variety of tasks including managing schedules, organizing meetings, maintaining files, preparing documents, and responding to internal and external communications.
How You Will Contribute
- Calculate monthly client commissions to clients utilizing carrier statements.
- Research and calculate chargeback amount for previously paid commissions to clients.
- Process and review client remittances for accuracy.
- Perform data entry, invoicing, contract review and electronic file maintenance
- Respond timely and accurately to client inquiries regarding contract issues, cancellations, payment related issues etc.
- Contact clients for outstanding remittances, errors in contracts submitted, payment related issues.
- Maintain open communication with all teammates
- Perform other administrative duties not limited to answering phones, copying, and scanning.
- Build courteous and successful relationships with office and sales teams, vendors, and carriers.
- Minimum education High School Diploma
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- 1 – 3 years experience in a similar position
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline preferred
