Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Lakeland, FL!
The Commercials Lines Account Manager provides commercial lines support in maintaining, expanding, and servicing assigned accounts.
How You Will Contribute:
Enter required data into the system to maintain current file data for assigned accounts.
- Review commercial applications, renewal requests, and endorsements for compliance with underwriting authority and guidelines.
- Prepare and process insurance binders, policies, endorsements, certificates, audits, and cancellations.
- Validate coverage and ratings on policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, etc.
- Maintain a suspense or follow-up system for correspondence and requests.
- Process premium finance agreements when necessary.
- Prepare and issue billings and invoices on time.
- Advise accounting on the correct posting of payments received for assigned accounts.
- Assist in collecting premiums and audits.
- Provide backup support to other Account Managers as needed and maintain expiration records.
Licenses and Certifications:
Florida 4-40 license
- Florida 2-20 License (Preferred)
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
High school diploma
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- 2 years of service experience in the insurance industry
- Industry software experience (Preferred)
