Brown & Brown is Seeking a Commercial Lines Technical Assistant to join our growing team in Rocky Hill, CT.
Reporting to a unit or team leader, individual works in conjunction with Account Managers, Account Executives and Producers to provide support & exceptional customer service.
How You Will Contribute
- Monitor & review electronic downloads every morning.
- For policies not downloaded, pull policy documents from carrier website for new business, cancellations, non-pay & reinstatement notices.
- Policy checking for new business, re-writes & endorsements.
- Process endorsement and certificate requests as received daily.
- Process cancellations, non-pay notices & reinstatements.
- Letters for new business, cancellations & lost accounts.
- Task follow-up to include, checking endorsements, non-pay notices, & cancellations.
- Paper document processing-mail received from carriers that do not download.
- Enter policy info into system for policies that do not download.
- Scanning
- Keep current with email & tasks.
- Follow Agency guidelines, policies and procedures
Licenses and Certifications:
- CT Property & Casualty Producer License (preferred)
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
- High School diploma
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Bachelors Degree or insurance experience (preferred)
- 1 years functioning in Commercial Lines department at an agency or company level (preferred)

Pay Range
$24.04 - $26.45 Hourly
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
