Brown & Brown is seeking a Consultant to join our growing team in Milwaukee, WI.
The Consultant for the Advanced Contracting Strategies (ACS) team will play a key role in helping employers optimize healthcare delivery channels, improve patient outcomes, and lower the total cost of care. This role will focus on consulting with employer clients on employer-sponsored clinic programs, direct contracting, value-based payer contracts, and population health management. The Consultant will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions, operational support, and strategic guidance.
How You Will Contribute:
Partner with clients to enhance health center programs, ensuring alignment with health and financial goals.
- Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analyses for onsite and near-site clinic programs.
- Lead strategy sessions to define the scope, objectives, and budget for clinic programs and health initiatives.
- Provide recommendations on vendor selection, clinic service expansion, and benefit ecosystem integration.
- Manage the full lifecycle of clinic implementation, from strategy development to execution.
- Oversee RFP processes, including vendor identification, proposal evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and vendor partners to ensure smooth transitions and operational success.
- Support clinic governance, including staffing audits, process improvements, and vendor accountability.
- Use data analysis tools to track clinic performance, measure ROI, and identify actionable insights.
- Stay updated on industry trends and represent the team at conferences, workshops, and vendor summits.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
7 years in healthcare consulting, benefits advisory, provider contracting, or employer-sponsored healthcare programs.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field (MBA or MHA preferred).
- Strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and healthcare analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with self-funded employer healthcare strategies, clinic models, direct contracting, and value-based reimbursement structures.
- Experience managing employer clients, engaging with executive stakeholders, and leading strategic initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear, compelling manner.
- This position may require routine or periodic travel which may require the team member to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. If required, acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position.
