Brown & Brown is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Fenton, MI.
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional support to clients by managing day-to-day service requests, resolving inquiries, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role acts as a liaison between the client and internal departments, delivering accurate and timely responses across various service areas. Through daily interactions and administrative support, the Customer Service Representative contributes to the overall success and retention of client relationships.
How You Will Contribute:
- Handles daily servicing of accounts, including processing endorsements, audits, invoicing, policy checking, and pre-renewal updates, as well as preparing policies for delivery.
- Prepares and delivers Certificates of Insurance, Evidence of Insurance, and Auto ID documents for all Commercial Lines clients.
- Communicates effectively with the producer and team to ensure consistent achievement of goals and objectives.
- Enters and maintains data in AMS360 and ImageRight in accordance with department procedures.
- Issues Auto ID cards and proof of insurance certificates.
- Orders Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs).
- Logs into carrier websites to retrieve endorsements and audits.
- Occasionally orders endorsements as needed.
- Assists with file cleanup and system maintenance.
- Maintains and upholds all professional standards of Brown & Brown of Detroit.
Licenses and Certifications:
- P&C License
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business or financial-related discipline, or 5 years of relevant experience.
- Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver timely and accurate work products with a client service focus, and respond with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Results-oriented and driven to succeed.
- Exceptional telephone demeanor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Easily takes instruction and accepts responsibility.
- Must be a team player.
