Brown & Brown is Seeking an Employee Benefits Coordinator to join our growing team in Greensboro, NC.
The purpose of the Benefits Coordinator is to provide prompt, efficient, and high-quality support within a high-volume insurance center. The focus of the role is to assist the Customer Success Representatives by assisting with administrative tasks and deliverables.
How You Will Contribute
- Support a team of Customer Success Representatives (CSR)
- Review and update plan attributes in Agency Management System
- Work with carriers to request materials for customers and/or follow up on previous requests made by the CSR’s
- Support CSR’s with processing adds, terms or changes to employee enrollments
- Communicate with carriers regarding customer billing discrepancies or simple claims issues
- Generate personalized forms for each customer (e.g., Annual Compliance Notices)
- Review carrier contracts for accuracy
- Draft employee communications materials for peer review by CSR’s
- Request information from insurance carriers on behalf of our customers
Licenses and Certifications:
- Obtain Life & Health License
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher
- Problem solving, critical thinking, excellent written and verbal communication, exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma
