The Intern will gain a comprehensive introduction to Excess and Surplus Lines Wholesale Insurance, including an overview of the carriers partnered with in this profit center. They will become familiar with PIPS and other software programs and systems used in daily operations. Additionally, the Intern will be introduced to each branch department—Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Professional Liability, and Marine—and educated on routine file setup and standard file documentation procedures to support efficient workflows.

How You Will Contribute
- General Overview and introduction to Excess and Surplus Lines Wholesale Insurance.
- Introduction to PIPS and other software programs and systems we utilize.
- Receive a general overview of the carriers we partner with in this profit center.
- Introduction to each department in the branch which includes Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Professional Liability & Marine.
- Educated on routine file setup and standard file documentation procedures.
- College student at an accredited University
- Interest in Risk Management
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
