Brown & Brown is Seeking a Personal Lines Account Coordinator to join our growing team in Tacoma, WA.
Personal Lines Service Team Account Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Service Team as needed. This position will report to the Service Team Leader and assist Account Managers, the Service Team Leader and Department Team Leader as requested. Obtaining Property & Casualty Insurance license is required.
How You Will Contribute
- Perform basic servicing needs such as endorsement request, issuing EOIs, auto ID cards, policy checking, and billing issues/payments, etc.
- Interact with clients directly regarding billing issues, confirmation of changes, mortgagee changes, and address changes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of communications and insurance documents as required
- Follow carrier underwriting guidelines in order to remarket existing clients based on their unique exposures and individual coverage needs
- Stay current on industry changes through continuing education classes throughout the year
- Be a mentor to fellow teammates and be willing to participate in peer training
- Develop and foster quality relationships with clients and teammates
- Complete special department projects as requested
- Consistently meet all Brown & Brown established quality control Procedures & Timelines and assist Service Team Leader with audits as needed.
- Compile and create proposals, account summaries/spreadsheets and additional documents as requested
- Actively participate in company events
Licenses and Certifications:
- Personal Lines insurance license.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
- College degree preferred but not required with appropriate work experience.
- 1 years of experience in the insurance industry with a strong emphasis in personal lines preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Strategic thinker with ability to act tactfully and strong insight into customer needs/wants

Pay Range
$22.00 - $24.00 Hourly
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
