Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager/Sales to join our growing team in Louisville, KY!
The Personal Lines Account Manager/Sales is responsible for the day-to-day management of client accounts and client relationships, as well as generating new personal lines business.
How You Will Contribute:
Provides customer service via phone, fax, and email, including gathering information for all change requests to forward to the processing department.
- Quotes and issues new policies and markets renewals when necessary.
- Inputs some claims.
- Inputs/updates client screen and policy screen information in AMS/IR.
- Invoices all agency-billed transactions within the department and follows up to collect payment from clients.
- Fill in as receptionist when needed.
- Maintains relationships with Personal Lines Carriers.
- Attends meetings, seminars, and programs to stay up to date on new personal lines products and services, to learn new skills, and to receive technical assistance in developing new personal lines accounts.
- Actively participates in cross-selling opportunities and cross-department referrals, as well as proactively striving to increase client retention.
- Pursues a course of personal and professional development.
Licenses and Certifications:
P&C License
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
High School Diploma
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a business or financial related discipline (Preferred)
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Exceptional customer service skills, both in person and via telephone and email
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- 1 — 3 years' experience in a similar position
- Professional designation (CIC, CISR, etc.) (Preferred)
- Notary (Preferred)
