Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Fort Myers, FL!
The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for servicing new and existing clients and helping to maintain positive client relationships for Personal Lines accounts, providing high quality of service with a focus on the profitability of the business to the agency.
How You Will Contribute:
Reviews renewal list of expiring policies and takes appropriate actions within the prescribed time frames.
- Prepares and rates quotations, proposals, and binders for presentation by producers.
- Handles client requests for information, endorsements, cancellations, and other services via phone, mail, or email.
- Processes client applications, suspends policy receipt, and ensures timely delivery of binders and ID cards.
- Requests and processes endorsements as needed, ensuring policies remain accurate.
- Markets accounts and lines and assists with accounts receivable and billing needs.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date AMS 360 database and handles policy rewrites when necessary.
- Sends necessary forms (e.g., Insurance Coverage Review, Small Business Questionnaire) to insureds, attaching them in Image Right.
- Ensures compliance with underwriting and binding authority guidelines and informs clients and companies of any policy errors.
- Attends required classes, maintains state license, and ensures agency files are set up and maintained properly to prevent liability issues.
Licenses and Certifications:
2-20 or 4-40 license (or obtained within 90 days).
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
Knowledge of customer service functions such as rating, marketing, claims handling and coverage information.
- Strong commitment to service for the agency's clients.
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge.
- Effective written and verbal communications skills.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to respond to requests effectively and efficiently.
