Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Sebring, FL.
The Personal Lines Account Manager will be responsible for servicing new and existing clients and helping to maintain positive client relationships for Personal Lines accounts, providing high quality of service with a focus on the profitability of the business to the agency.
How You Will Contribute:
- Reviews renewal list of policies expiring in the prescribed time frames to determine appropriate actions.
- Rates and prepares quotations, when necessary.
- Prepares Proposals for presentation by producers.
- Mails and/or emails binders and ID cards to insureds.
- Mails, faxes or emails, application to company and suspend for receipt of policy.
- Handles client telephone and mail requests for information, endorsements, cancellations, and other services as required.
- Requests endorsements as required.
- Markets accounts/lines as needed.
- Processes accounting and billing needs related to clients.
- Assists with accounts receivable control.
Licenses and Certifications:
- 2-20 or 4-40 license (or obtained within 90 days)
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
- Knowledge of customer service functions such as rating, marketing, claims handling and coverage information.
- Strong commitment to service for the agency's clients.
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge.
- Effective written and verbal communications skills.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to respond to requests effectively and efficiently.
