Brown & Brown is Seeking a Personal Lines Sales Assistant to join our growing team in Tacoma, WA.
The Sales Assistant position serves as support for current producer and account managers. The Sales Assistant will attend prospect meetings as deemed necessary while learning all facets of the Personal Lines business.
How You Will Contribute
- Master all internal programs and information systems
- Foster quality working relationships with Account Managers, Marketing Analysts, Producers and carrier partners
- Focus on increased knowledge of personal lines insurance terminology, coverage forms, industry practices and marketplace trends
- Market new and renewal business
- Develop diligent prospecting methods (including cold calls) and habits of effective prospect tracking
- Consistently meet all Brown & Brown established quality control procedures and timelines
- Actively participate in social, civic, and trade organizations to represent Brown & Brown's community/client commitment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of communications and insurance documents as required
- As requested, attend prospect meetings, carrier training events, off-site sales meetings and other professional development functions
- Refer to complete list in expectation document
- Support other producers and leadership to expedite and successfully transition new prospects into clients.
- Regularly interact internally and externally to further develop and promote new business activities for the B&B team.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Personal Lines insurance license.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
- College degree preferred but not required with appropriate work experience.
- 1 years of experience in the insurance industry with a strong emphasis in personal lines preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Strategic thinker with ability to act tactfully and strong insight into customer needs/wants
Pay Range
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
