Brown & Brown is Seeking a Senior Director Innovation and Data Strategy to join our growing team.
The Senior Director Data Strategy and Innovation will play a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for driving data-driven initiatives and ensuring the successful implementation of strategic projects within the division. This role requires a combination of business acumen and technical expertise to harness data for enhancing sales, improving client retention, and optimizing cross-selling opportunities.
How You Will Contribute
- Create and manage fund allocation for initiatives, reporting progress to leadership.
- Identify investment use cases, focusing on economic value and ROI.
- Use data-driven methods for sales and retention, achieving savings.
- Develop a framework to overcome challenges in using data across segments
- Identify and make recommendations on data structures between different divisions, ensuring measurable outcomes.
- Enhance collaboration between divisions to optimize business routing.
- Analyze current processes to identify discrepancies and improve revenue.
- Review and recommend prices to ensure alignment to match market conditions.
- Lead on- or offshore teams in data initiatives, conduct analysis, define use cases, select metrics, and secure leadership support.
- Implement process changes, train users, bring use cases into production, measure financial impact, and provide continuous reporting for future planning.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in data strategy, business analysis, and project management.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data modeling, excellent communication, and leadership abilities.
- Tools: Familiarity with agency management tools such as AMS360, Applied EPIC and Risk Match.
- Proven record of working with Director to C-Suite.
