Brown & Brown is seeking a Workers' Compensation Analyst to join our growing team in Tacoma, WA!
The Workers' Compensation Analyst position will support the agency's L&I consulting practice. The WC Analyst will support the sales and service staff in the preparation of account analyses and presentation materials for both prospective and renewal clients as well as for contracted Retro Groups. The position requires a working knowledge of Labor & Industries regulations and rating rules. The WC Analyst will be responsible for carrying out all tasks as outlined in the Workers' Compensation Analyst Job Description "Roles and Responsibilities" addendum and report directly to Workers' Compensation Practice Leader. The WC Analyst will also provide customer service to an assigned book of business and be responsible for carrying out all tasks as outlined in the Account Manager Job Description "Roles and Responsibilities" addendum
How You Will Contribute:
Collect and organize customer data from online sources
- Input data into proprietary analysis tools
- Research and resolve inconsistencies and omissions in account data
- Prepare various presentation materials as directed
- Keep abreast of developments in state statutes and their impact on our L&I clients
- Prepare client deliverables and support service tasks for a book of business
- Consistently meet all Brown & Brown established quality control procedures and timelines
- Actively participate in social, civic, and trade organizations to represent Brown & Brown's community/client commitment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of communications and insurance documents as required
Licenses and Certifications:
- As required
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
College degree preferred but not required with appropriate work experience.
- Experience with Washington workers' compensation preferred but not required.
- Experience with commercial insurance industry basics preferred but not required.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy. Must be able to self-check work.
- Good people skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Highly organized and deadline focused.
- Proficient with Microsoft Tools, Outlook, Word, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Pay Range
$19.23 - $24.04 Hourly
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
