What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance/Janitor position at Brown County Inn?
Brown County Inn is now hiring full or part-time maintenance/janitorial staff.
Job duties are included, but not limited to:
- Cleaning and supplying hotel and restaurant public areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, etc.).
- Disinfect commonly used surfaces.
- Remove debris and snow from sidewalks as needed.
- Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.
- Carrying out deep cleaning tasks and special projects.
- Notifying management of issues/need for repairs.
- Minor repairs.
- Assist housekeeping staff as needed.
- Assist hotel guests as needed.
Applicants should be able to lift and move at least 40 pounds and have reliable transportation.
Extensive maintenance knowledge is NOT required.
Some weekend availability required. Shifts are afternoon/evening.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
