Brown County Library is seeking a creative collaborator and team focused individual to serve as Deputy Director. This role oversees and coordinates library operations across 8 branches and a bookmobile. They lead the organization in providing outstanding service through daily interactions and impactful programming. As a key member of the Library’s Leadership Team, they lead strategic planning of library services and allocation of resources.
Specific duties include:
- Direct the work of 4 Branch Managers, the Central Library Manager, and the Bookmobile Manager
- Develop and maintain collaborations with community and County partners
- Coordinate programming across all locations
- Create a safe and welcoming customer experience
- Ensure consistent implementation of policy and procedures throughout the library
- Create, update, and interpret library policy and procedure
