Brown-Daub Dealership has an immediate opening for an experienced
Cashier / Receptionist
at our CHRYSLER/JEEP/DODGE location in Easton, PA
Job Summary:
The position is full-time with day/evening hours and a rotating Saturday schedule. This person is the dealership’s front-line contact with our customers and must represent the dealership in a professional and friendly manner at all times. It is responsibility to greet customers, assist and finalize paperwork accurately, see that the porter delivers or parks the vehicles to the customers in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
- Properly record and distribute state inspection and emissions stickers. Communicate when stickers are low so more can be ordered.
- Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Computes customer bills.
- Stocking in all new vehicles
- Assists service with giving out service loaners when needed and keeping an updated loaner log
- Verifies and receives payment from customer, secures and records payment received; also obtains the customer’s signature on invoice.
- Provides refunds or credit memos to customers for returned merchandise or as directed by managers.
- Balance the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
- Maintain security on all moneys and receipts against theft and loss at all times. Any money received over $2/3,000 must promptly be deposited in the bank.
- Monitor all transactions for possible 8300 Form requirements
- Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise; when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate department or manager for resolution.
- Provides clerical assistance to accounting and other departments as needed.
- Control phone operations; assist callers and forward calls to appropriate associates.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday-Friday from 11am - 7pm and rotating Saturdays.
Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year experience in related field preferred.
- Excellent verbal/written, interpersonal and customer communication skills.
- Keep a professional appearance at all times.
- Maintain a clean and neat work space and uphold Brown-Daub standards at all times.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend and twist (ie: filing) and lift up 10 lbs. on occasion.
